But this got me thinking about the next movies on the list. Since I live in an apartment full of girls, it's safe to say that most of these viewings will be of sappy love stories and romantic comedies. Some timeless favorites of mine are:
1. When Harry Met Sally
If you haven't seen this movie, it's a great one to sit down and watch with your mom. I can just about guarantee that she's seen it and loves it. The classic diner seen may be a little awkward if you are younger, but watch it anyway. No one does New Year's Eve like Harry and Sally!
2. Pride and Prejudice
This one is for the Jane Austen fans out there, or for those that just love a good "chick flick". It's hard to beat the classic story of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. You can see from one of my earlier posts that I love to watch this one. If there's a rainy afternoon when you can't think of anything better to do than immerse yourself in one of the greatest love stories ever told, spend a couple hours with these two. It will probably ruin real life love for you, but maybe it will just help you keep your standards high, ladies!
3. The Notebook
You probably knew this one would be listed from your first glance at this post, but there's good reason for it. It's been over-watched by millions of us, to be sure, but it will always bring a tear to your eye. It's fun, exciting, and, let's be honest, we all wish for a love like Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gossling share in this film.
Okay, that's the end of my girly ramblings for the night. Girls, watch these and see if you agree with my top 3. Guys, pick any of these three to watch with your lady on date night and I can guarantee cuddling:)
